3. Data We Process and Why
3.1 Website Visit
When you visit the site, we automatically process technical data: shortened IP address, date and time, pages visited, browser type, operating system, referrer. Purpose: secure operation, error analysis, abuse protection. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
3.2 Contact Forms and Consultation Requests
When you contact us (contact form, email, WhatsApp, phone), we process the data you provide — typically name, email, phone, your question, and any photos of your hair situation you upload. Purpose: answering your enquiry, medical pre-assessment, scheduling, performance of pre-contractual measures. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request and contract performance (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
3.3 Health-Related Data
Photos and information about your hair situation constitute sensitive personal data. We process this only for medical consultation and treatment preparation. Legal basis is Art. 9 para. 2 lit. h GDPR (medical treatment by medical professionals) and the corresponding provisions of the Swiss FADP for sensitive personal data.
3.4 Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send it. Subscription uses a double opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter email.
3.5 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for anonymised reach measurement. It activates only after your consent in the cookie banner. IP addresses are truncated.
3.6 Location Detection
To route you to the correct language, we roughly identify your country via ipinfo.io (ipinfo Inc., USA) based on your IP. No personal profiling takes place.
3.7 Embedded Content (YouTube)
Videos are embedded in YouTube’s extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Ltd.). Data is transmitted to Google only when you actively start playback.

5. International Data Transfers
To perform medical consultation and treatment, we transfer your data to medical professionals in Turkey. Turkey is not recognised by Switzerland or the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection. The transfer is necessary to fulfil your enquiry and to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 17 para. 1 lit. c FADP / Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). By contacting us via the contact form, WhatsApp, email, or phone, you consent to this transfer.
Other providers (e.g. Google, ipinfo) may process data in the USA. These transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
- Server logs: up to 30 days
- Enquiries via contact form / WhatsApp / email: up to 24 months after last contact
- Patient data related to a treatment: at least 10 years, per medical documentation obligations
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: up to 14 months
