3,000 grafts at HLC Hairline Clinic Ankara: €8,200 all-inclusive. Two surgery days. Four days on-site. Every surgical step performed by our surgeon team — no technicians, no nurses doing medical work. Manual FUE extraction with stick-and-place implantation. €1,000 deposit confirms your dates; €7,200 balance due on surgery day. We are typically booked weeks ahead and we don’t accept every patient who asks.
What 3,000 Grafts Costs at HLC — €8,200 All-Inclusive
3,000 Grafts at HLC — Cost Breakdown
HLC pricing is tiered: the first 2,500 grafts are billed at €2.70 each; every graft above 2,500 at €2.50. The €200 service package covers your hotel stay, airport transfers, all medications, post-op care kit, and structured follow-up at six and twelve months.
The exact graft count is confirmed only after on-site examination on the day before surgery. Photo evaluation gives a planning estimate; the surgical team finalises the number after measuring your donor and assessing miniaturisation in person.
Why HLC Costs What HLC Costs
HLC charges European pricing for hair transplant surgery in Turkey. Patients travel to us not for a low price — they travel for the result. Our reputation is built in three areas the international hair surgery community recognises:
- Repair cases — patients arrive at HLC after failed transplants performed by other clinics, often with depleted donors and unnatural hairlines. Repair work is part of our daily caseload.
- Body hair transplantation — beard, chest, and combined-donor protocols developed and refined since the early 2000s. HLC holds a patent on a bifurcated needle technique designed by our founder for body hair extraction.
- Training and standards — Dr. Özgür is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS), and serves as President of FUE Europe. HLC operates a Hair Transplant Training Centre where other surgeons learn manual FUE technique.
What you pay for at HLC is the difference between a surgeon and a technician performing every step. The official answer to the question — repeated to every patient who asks why HLC is more expensive than other Turkey clinics:
- Only surgeons operate. No technicians, no nurses doing surgical work.
- Manual extraction only — no micromotors.
- Stick-and-place implantation — graft placed immediately as each channel is opened, not batch processing.
- Approximately 1,000 grafts per session, not 2,000–5,000 at once.
- For 3,000 grafts: HLC operates across two surgery days in three to four sessions.
- Maximum two to three patients per day at the clinic.
- Thorough consultation and hairline approval by you before surgery starts.
Why 3,000 Grafts Means Two Surgery Days at HLC
Other clinics will quote you 3,000 grafts in a single day. We deliberately don’t. Our protocol caps each surgery day at approximately 2,000 to 2,400 grafts, split into two sessions of around 1,000 grafts each. For 3,000 grafts, that means:
3,000 Grafts Across Two Surgery Days
This is the protocol that protects your result. Three reasons we hold the line on it:
- Graft survival. Each session works in batches of approximately 1,000 grafts that are extracted, stored in saline at controlled temperature, and implanted within a maximum of three hours. A single-day mega-session of 3,000+ grafts forces grafts to wait far longer outside the body. Survival drops accordingly.
- Surgeon precision. Stick-and-place implantation requires the surgeon to open each recipient site individually and place each graft immediately, under 6–8× magnification loupes. Maintaining that precision for nine consecutive hours of mega-session is not realistic. Splitting across two days protects the quality of every channel.
- Real-time team oversight. Our surgical team monitors transection rate, density distribution, and symmetry continuously throughout each session. The two-day structure gives the team time to plan, adjust, and coordinate between sessions.
The same surgeon team operates on you across both days. Surgeon assignment is decided by Dr. Özgür during your on-site consultation, based on your hair texture, donor characteristics, and case complexity.
Four Days On-Site — What Your Stay Looks Like
- Day 1 — Arrival. HLC driver picks you up at Ankara Esenboğa Airport (ESB) at any arrival time. Transfer to patient hotel. On-site consultation with Dr. Özgür: hairline design, graft count confirmation, your written approval before anything starts.
- Day 2 — Surgery day 1. 9:00 AM start. Morning session (~1,000 grafts) and afternoon session (~1,000 grafts) with a one-hour lunch break and two short coffee breaks. Day finishes around 6:00 PM. Return to hotel.
- Day 3 — Surgery day 2. Morning session (~1,000 grafts) to reach 3,000 total. Post-op briefing. Return to hotel.
- Day 4 — Post-op check and departure. 8:00 AM medical check at the clinic. Bandages removed, written aftercare instructions handed over, your post-op kit is ready. Return flight should not depart before 11:00 AM.
Three nights of accommodation in our patient hotel are included in the €200 service package (the threshold is 2,200 grafts; 3,000 grafts exceeds it). Additional nights for you or an accompanying person are €50 per night, subject to availability.
We Don’t Accept Every Patient Who Asks
HLC is typically booked weeks to months in advance. The clinic has been organised since 2002 around the principle that we only operate when we can genuinely help. We turn patients down regularly:
- Hair loss is not yet stable — patients under approximately 22 years of age, or anyone whose loss is still actively progressing without medication. We tell these patients to wait, and to start Finasteride first if there are no contraindications.
- No medication in place — a hair transplant does not stop further loss. Patients who have not tried Finasteride or Minoxidil are advised to do so for at least six months and reassess before surgery.
- Donor capacity insufficient for the goal — if your donor area cannot deliver the coverage you want, we say so honestly. We don’t extract from a thinned donor to inflate a graft count.
- Unrealistic expectations — patients seeking 5,000+ grafts in a single day, or 100% density across the entire scalp, are not candidates for our protocol.
If we offer you a surgery date, it is because the medical team believes 3,000 grafts will deliver a result you will be glad you paid for. We do not take cases for revenue. We do not run promotions. We are not in price competition with budget Turkey clinics — different model, different result.

Surgeon-Only, Manual FUE, Stick-and-Place
Every step of your surgery is performed by surgeons. Each procedure is staffed by one or two surgeons and two assistants. Assistants handle non-surgical support tasks only — instrument preparation, graft counting, sterilisation, patient care. They do not extract or implant.
- Manual FUE extraction. Hand-held punches, 0.7–0.9 mm, developed by HLC’s technical department. No micromotors. Better control over angle and depth, less trauma to surrounding donor tissue, lower transection rate.
- Stick-and-place implantation. The surgeon opens one recipient channel and places one graft into it immediately, before opening the next. This is not pre-made-slits batch processing. Grafts spend minimum time outside the body.
- Magnification loupes. Every surgeon and every assistant works under 6–8× binocular loupes. Follicular units are 0.8–1.2 mm wide and 3–4 mm deep — they need to be seen, not estimated.
- Real-time team monitoring. During surgery, the team continuously checks transection rate during extraction, density distribution as grafts are placed, and symmetry of the final hairline. With multiple trained eyes evaluating the work, problems are caught and corrected during the procedure rather than discovered later.
HLC does not perform DHI (Direct Hair Implantation). DHI uses the Choi pen, a different implantation tool. We have evaluated it and chosen stick-and-place. More on DHI vs FUE here.
Payment and Booking for 3,000 Grafts
- Deposit: €1,000 — payable by bank transfer or PayPal. Proof of payment must be sent within 7 days; otherwise the reservation is automatically released. The deposit is fully credited toward your total.
- Remaining balance: €7,200, due on surgery day.
- Payment methods accepted: cash, bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, or cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum).
- Currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF.
- Cancellation: 14 or more days before surgery, full refund minus bank charges. Less than 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable but transferable once to a rescheduled date.
Note on credit card payments: cards can only be processed in Turkish Lira at daily exchange rates set by the card issuer’s bank. We don’t charge additional fees, but the bank’s exchange rate may be unfavourable. We recommend paying as much as possible in cash or by direct transfer, with credit card for a smaller portion if needed.
We Treat Every Patient the Way We Would Treat Family
This is not marketing language. The clinic was founded in 2002 around a simple principle: only operate when you can genuinely help. We tell young patients to wait. We send patients on Finasteride first. We refuse mega-sessions that would deplete a donor area for life. We turn down cases regularly when surgery is not the right answer at this point in time.
If we accept your case, you have the team’s full attention — across consultation, surgery, and structured follow-up at six and twelve months. We want one thing: a result that holds up over years and that you would recommend to someone you care about. That is the only outcome we are interested in. Quality is the standard. The price reflects the standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does 3,000 grafts cost €8,200 at HLC and €3,000–€4,000 at low-cost Turkey clinics?
Because surgeons perform every step at HLC. The price reflects manual FUE extraction by a surgeon, stick-and-place implantation by a surgeon, real-time monitoring of transection and density by a surgical team, and a maximum of two to three patients per day. Most low-cost Turkey clinics — even after recent price increases — still rely on medical technicians for extraction and implantation and operate as high-volume facilities. Different model, different result. We don’t compete on price.
Why do you split 3,000 grafts across two surgery days instead of doing it in one day?
HLC caps each surgery day at approximately 2,000 to 2,400 grafts, split into two sessions of around 1,000 grafts each. This protects graft survival (grafts spend a maximum of three hours outside the body per session) and lets the surgical team maintain precision throughout. Single-day mega-sessions of 3,000+ grafts are something we deliberately don’t do — that protocol is the reason patients come to us.
Will the same surgeon team operate on me both days?
Yes. The same team operates across all surgery days for a given patient. Surgeon assignment is decided during your on-site consultation by Dr. Özgür based on medical criteria — your hair texture, donor characteristics, and whether the case is hairline reconstruction, crown work, or a repair.
What if I’m not a good candidate for 3,000 grafts?
Then we tell you. Honestly. We turn down patients regularly when surgery is not the right answer right now — too young, hair loss not yet stable, donor area too thin for the coverage goal, or expectations that don’t match what is achievable. We don’t take cases for revenue. If we accept your case, the team believes 3,000 grafts will deliver a result you will be glad you paid for.
How long is the wait for a surgery date at HLC?
Typically several weeks to a few months ahead, depending on season and case complexity. The clinic operates a maximum of two to three patients per day by design, and planning is treated carefully. Send your photos and ask about availability — we’ll come back with realistic dates.
Can 3,000 grafts cover my entire bald area in one procedure?
This depends on your hair loss pattern and donor capacity, both of which are confirmed only on-site. As a planning estimate: 3,000 grafts typically covers Norwood 3 to early Norwood 4 — the hairline plus a meaningful portion of the mid-scalp. For more extensive cases (Norwood 5+), a second procedure six to ten months later may be needed, depending on what your donor area can sustain. We tell you on-site what’s realistic.
Get an Honest Assessment for Your Case
Send three photos of your hair — one from the front, one from the top, one from the side — to info@fue-hlc.com or via WhatsApp at +41 76 569 4284. Dr. Özgür reviews your case personally and tells you what we believe will deliver the best result: whether 3,000 grafts is the right number for your hair pattern and donor density, whether you need fewer, or whether surgery is not the right step at this point in time.
No pressure. No upselling. Just a straight surgical opinion from a team that has been doing this work since 2002.
