Our clinic is a specialized center for Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), the most up-to-date and the most sparing kind of hair transplant operation. The HLC Turkey in Ankara was founded in 2002 by hair transplant specialist Dr. Özgür Oztan and has ever since specialized in this field.
Although there are many other clinics offering FUE techniques these days, only very few of them practice FUE technique exclusively. The majority of clinics still offer – mostly for financial reasons or due to lack of experience – only the traditional strip hair transplant method. This method takes less time and effort, but also means taking on an enormous psychological load on the patient. In most cases this could be avoided. This is also why HLC is proud being one of the few clinics in the world specializing exclusively in the FUE method.
